Composer, bassist, recording engineer and producer Tim studied at Berklee College of Music, and has worked as a recording engineer and studio session musician in New York City, Boston, and Ithaca where his own production studio now flourishes. He currently performs with the jazz string group Water Bear and is in a backup band for a gifted singer/songwriter Crow Greenspun. In his successful career he’s recorded for diverse clients such as Sly Stone, Whitney Houston, The Beastie Boys, Grand Master Flash and Kool & The Gang. For the past 11 years he’s also been a resident Sound Designer for the Kitchen Theatre Company in Ithaca, NY creating over 80 sound scores and compositions for the Company’s wide range of productions. His sound design skills have reached to Vermont Stage for Syringa Tree and to NYC for an off-Broadway production of The Soup Comes Last. Has also done custom music for Royal Caribbean and Network Health among many others.
James is in his third year at Northeastern University studying Music Industry with a minor in Business Administration. He began playing guitar and singing as soon as he could walk and has developed a passion for writing music and sharing with others ever since. He is the lead singer/guitarist for the band Above Water and has played several shows in and around the Boston area and has been featured on the radio. He loves to spend time at Boston Children’s Hospital as a Music Specialist and writing music for his band. In his free time outside of music, James enjoys to spearfish, surf and fanboy over Tom Brady.
Lauren Milewski is a third year at Northeastern University, studying as a combined Music Industry and Media & Screen Studies major with a minor in Musical Theatre. Lauren has always been passionate about music: she began playing piano at a very young age, since her mother often played. She has played the bassoon for about 10 years, performing in several acclaimed orchestras and chamber groups throughout the Greater Philadelphia Area. Since coming to Northeastern, she joined the Symphony Orchestra and NU Stage, Northeastern’s premier student-run musical theater group, whose members have become her best friends and greatest inspirations.
Nate is currently pursuing his Master of Science in Music Industry Leadership at Northeastern University, where he has primarily focused his research and coursework on Hip Hop. With a background in performance, Nathan first began playing music at a young age. He obtained his Bachelor of Music in Jazz Trumpet from Loyola University New Orleans, and after graduating, remained in the city where he performed professionally as a keyboard player, trumpet player, and choir vocalist. During his professional and student career, Nate has had the opportunity to perform with artists such as Sean Jones, Brian Blade, Bennie Maupin and the Louisiana Philharmonic, as well as at the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival. In addition to his work at Aircraft, Nate also provides production and consulting services for an independent record label outside of Detroit.
Cooper is a Composer, Producer, Performer and Teacher. After finishing his undergrad at Hampshire College, Cooper was the head of the music department at the Verde Valley School in Arizona for two years. After that he moved back to Boston to take courses at Berklee and crack into the jingle writing scene. Cooper has been working freelance as a composer for TV, web, and radio , teaching private lessons and ensembles, performing with his band bird.bird, and producer/engineering for various artists.
Ethan is a sophomore at Northeastern University from St. Louis, studying Music and Physics. At the age of 7 Ethan started playing the guitar, and has since begun a journey of music production and songwriting for several years, working on genres ranging from orchestral scores to hip-hop.
Max Ervin is one of the newest members of the Aircraft team. He is currently a third year at Northeastern University pursuing an undergraduate degree in Music Business. Music has always been a big part of Max’s life. He grew up in Austin, Texas and from an early age was enraptured by the city’s live music. His fondest childhood memories include the nights he spent listening to music at legendary Austin venues like The Shady Grove, The Broken Spoke, Antone’s, and Threadgill’s. Max’s passion for music and his proficiency in blues guitar drove him to start the band “Flannery O’Connor” in high school. Their seasoned live career had them performing at all the venues Max grew up going to, and allowed them to open for Bob Schneider and Styx at the Moody theatre. Max hopes to use his experience at indieTracks as the foundation for a long and active career in the music industry.
Sidney is a sophomore music industry major at Northeastern University. In her New Jersey hometown, she found a love for music through singing in choirs and making home recordings – a passion that led her to many different pursuits once she moved to Boston, such as beatboxing in an acapella group, releasing more of her music, and playing solo shows around town. When she’s not working on her Bandcamp releases, she likes to go to local concerts, draw cartoons, and collaborate with friends.
Li Wang is a writer, director and sound artist. Since her childhood she was interested in nature. She studied biology before working with media. Later she wanted to get to know the world by working with image and sound. Li carried her curiosity into the process of media making, as a way to understand human minds and emotions, which are more complicated then their genomes. She has worked with different media including film, animation, videos, photograph and audio.
Independent producer, engineer and composer Crit has been involved with AirCraft’s production in some capacity since it’s inception. A true factotum of the audio industry, his credits include work with artists such as Martin Sexton, Susan Werner and Fordham Wilkes as well as film and TV work with “Grumpy Old Men”, “ER” and “Melrose Place” among many others. He is also the owner and operator of his own independent recording studio.
David (aka “Leggo”) Rojas began his journey with music by scouring the Roadium Swap Meet for vinyl, tapes and hard to find music that fueled his passion for great samples. At 15 he purchased the ASR-10, and along with his mom’s “state of the art” component turntable/tape deck/radio set up, began making beats. He’s cut his teeth spinning for clubs, music industry events, corporate events and touring, as well as producing custom music for film/TV licensing, indie and major label artists, and national ad campaigns. Some clients include – Interscope Records, Dreamworks, Lionsgate, MGM, Paramount Pictures, Def Jam, Scion, Red Bull, Reebok, K-Swiss, DGK, Mad Media Films, MTV, Showtime Networks, FX Networks and many others.
A diligent and innovative canine virtuoso, and winner of GQ’s 2016 Hottest Office Dog award, Rory is truly a master of his craft. Despite being AirCraft’s newest addition, he has already surpassed any and all expectations with his ability to work well in with the AirCraft team. Through his presence alone, Rory is able to bolster the AirCraft staff, inspire creativity and increase productivity by 1.21 gigawatts. Other hobbies include watching TV, barking at other dogs and extreme alpine skiing.
